MAT-73 is a german composer and producer. His musical vocabulary spans from Classical Music to Jazzfusion, House, Progressive Rock and beyond. In this synthesis of different soundscapes he creates harmonically and rhythmically rich beats extended by his live performance. For more than 15 years he has been playing piano, including his studies at the HfMDK in Frankfurt am Main with Professor Christoph Spendel. His commitment to this instrument and musical creativity not only made him one of the main composers for the Jazzfusion band Odd Structures, but also gave him a unique approach to electronic music. Combining atmospheric textures with pulsating beats and years of experience in improvisation, he crafts a unique sound.
